Frequently Asked Questions

Common Misconceptions about Saltwater Aquariums - There are several common misconceptions about saltwater aquariums which include the difficulty of care, the larger the system the easier it is, and corals are hard to keep.

Difficulty of Care - If done properly, once the saltwater aquarium is setup it is a fairly easy type of aquarium to maintain. There are different types of fish and corals that can be more difficult to keep, but there are also different types of fish and corals that are very easy to maintain.

Larger the system, the easier it is - There are some things that are true about this theory but for the most part, it is false. We can build you a tank as small as 10 gallons and it will provide the same beauty as a 200 gallon tank.

Corals are hard to keep - Many people think corals are hard to keep. This is true on some corals, but there are more corals which are easier to keep than those that are difficult. We can build you a system with extreme color using nothing but easy to care for corals. Most of the time, corals are easier to keep than fish and require less care.
